Highly successful dressage horses
Selection
We select our horses very carefully from established and renowned breeders right from foal age.
We raise our horses carefully and in a species-appropriate manner on our well-established riding facility with extensive pastures and large paddocks.
We pay particular attention to daily grazing and a generous amount of space for our young horse herds.
We have developed an appropriate feed concept especially for our youngsters in order to optimally mineralize the young dressage talents and provide them with all the important nutrients they need.
Rearing
We raise our foals in small groups on large summer pastures and spacious winter paddocks. In the stables, the foals and young horses are kept in pairs in large boxes, which are mucked out and bedded daily.
We spare nothing when it comes to feeding: all foals and young horses have fresh hay 24 hours a day and are given concentrate and mineral feed 2 to 3 times a day.
If necessary, we give further nutritional supplements such as vitamins or trace elements. All foals and young horses are taken out to pasture or paddocks every day and are handled daily. This pays off later in their daily routine as sport horses, as their trust in humans is established early on.
Of course, we take care of the farrier, vet and physiotherapy treatments if required. All horses are regularly wormed and vaccinated so that they have the best conditions for a successful sport horse career. We raise young stallions in our own young stallion groups for their further careers as stallion candidates.
Education
At the age of three, the young horses become accustomed to equipment and rider weight. At the age of four, we begin to ride and train the young remounts in an age-appropriate manner.
The talented dressage horses are gradually introduced to the competition scene and prepared in a targeted manner.
We take all the time we need to ensure that this quality can mature into sport horses that are not only reliable partners in the arena, but also in the field.
Our horses give their riders a lot of pleasure every day.
